In this four-day training called, "The Imago Fundamentals," or the Imago Clinical Training (ICT), you will learn Imago's theory and meta-theories on relationships and experience the communication model for yourself in a collaborative, safe learning environment. Learn how the tools and theory apply to help people have satisfying romantic relationships. 

Pre-requisite: Attend a Getting the Love You Want Workshop for Couples or a Keeping the Love You Find for Individuals taught by a Certified Workshop Presenter.

MODULE ONE 

CERTIFICATION

Clinicians: After completing this training, with additional supervision and after assisting at a Getting the Love You Want Workshop, clinical therapists can continue in Module 2 and 3 to become a Certified Imago Therapist. Master or Ph.D. mental health students, associate Interns, and fully licensed counselors, therapists, or psychologists will learn how to help couples transform a couple's conflict into connection by addressing the underlying adaptations and defensive patterns using a model that prevents burnout. 

Professionals: Apply the tools and theory from The Imago Fundamentals to specific domains: businesses, classrooms, boardrooms, and schools. Professionals can continue after this training to complete a special project that applies Imago to their professional domain in addition to specialized modules on Groups & Families, Individuals, non-romantic Dyads, Organizations resulting in their becoming a Certified Imago Professional Facilitator.

NOTE: If you wish to work with couples, we presume that the trainee is legally qualified, insured, and able to work in their state or that they can adjust the model as appropriate and we presume they have a business that puts them in front of couples seeking help. We are not responsible for providing opportunities for couples work and this training will not qualify a trainee the right to practice mental health.

Certified Imago Therapists can complete this 3-module in depth training to give the Getting the Love You Want Workshop for Couples and the Keeping the Love You Find for Individuals.

Certified Imago Professional Facilitators and any mental health therapist can take this training and offer the Imago parenting workshop called Connected Parents, Thriving Kids based on the book, Giving the Love that Heals. Note: the pre-requisite is to take the workshop Connected Parents, Thriving Kids.
